Gran Prix de France

Just over 7 hour before free practice. Who's your pick and why?
I think...................

With Depuniet out for his home GP, and Fonzie in his place forget Kawi riders.
Colin will qualify in the top five but fade ot his usual 8-10 spot.
Vermulen (John Boy) isn't gonna win til the mole is removed, too much drag
Nakano will battle early if he qualifies decent, he could be a shocker.
Haden will get into the top five
Pedrosa will be top Honda rider where ever he ends up. Bad robot,No podium.
Elias will be stronger and battle top five early then fade or crash
Melandri will give a good fight and may top Pedrosa for top Honda
Stoner will be tough but I can't see another victory despite the Duc power
Caparossi will be closer to the front, might sneak a podium.
Hopper is gonna be on the podi again now the jinx is broken, I'd bet 3rd again
Rossi will take pole and be on the podi, Probably win it this time. Hail Master!

I strongly agree about Rossi getting a podium.

I don't think the Duc will be able to stretch on this track. So no Podium for Stoner (fingers crosseD).

I disagree about Hayden - i think he might not even get top 10.

Let's see.

Rossi make some bad choices chasing Stoner in the last race, he may atctually be starting to get under Rossis skin.

For a younger racer, Stoner was remarkably composed last week while being chased by Rossi. I think there are some chinks starting to show in Rossis armor, we'll see.

1st rossi - to save some embarassment from china's run off
2nd stoner - it's a given, he'll either take 1st or 2nd
3rd pedrosa - he's movin on up

if rossi puts up another fight with stoner....then we'll have to scratch him off the podium list, because the run off in china was luck....next time he'll damage more than his ego.

You would think that Rossi could afford "-free" armor.

Here's to hoping that Rossi's corner speed outweighs Stoner's straightline advantage. I think Pedrosa will be top Honda rider. Hopper is top Suzuki but not on podium. Hayden will see his best finish of the season.

1. Rossi
2. Stoner
3. Pedrosa

Not a fan by any means after he took Hayden out last year, but i think Pedrosa is prime for a win-Although i sure would like to see a strong american showing i dont think well see Hayden or Edwards on the box. Maybe Hopkins. Im feeling Stoner is riding the wave of confidence he needed since coming off the 250s. I look for all three to be battling up front with Rossi.
