The new ones are pimp. Super smooth. All the steering quirks on the old ones are gone.

I completely agree with you about street riding. I'll be off soon enough, at least on a sportbike.

You ride it your going to want to buy one. It is a 900 hundred pound sportbike with lugguge room, cruise control, reverse and BAD CAGING RATTLing TUNES!

I bought my kawi in 2000 w/ 4K miles, ran it up to 20K in about a year, then rode it for another year with the odo unplugged (don't worry, even if I ever sold it, the buyer wouldn't care about the mileage)- I have no idea how much mileage it really has, but has to be around 35-40K.

put 12K on the busa in the first 10 months of riding it - I ran through the 1000 mile break-in in about 45 hours.
