help needed!

Anyone in the pasadena/la porte/deer park are know how to work on wiring on motorcycle wiring. friend took my bike and now it wonnt start up. everything light up and come on but it just doesnt turn over to start. when i went out in the garage it smelt like burnt wiring. if anyone know anything about it.. id appreciate the help. its a GSXR 600 2004 thanks moto houston

Could be many things. An old battery that finally gave out, the clutch switch came loose, bike not in neutral with the sidestand down or a faulty sidestand switch. Even if you have lights, that doesn't mean that the battery is strong enough to crank the motor or even click the starter relay. Measure the voltage at the battery to see where you're at. Check that the cables are secure to the battery.

i really dont know where to look when it comes to these wires. im thinking its something small.
