Find a stunter that has a bike with working ABS. Anyone on this site besides me ever really tested ABS?

I wouldn't expect a stunter to have a bike that new.

Quoted from the riders manual.

Dont forget that this is a two channel system, it will only prevent the wheel that is at the threshold from locking, so even if the rear wheel is in a locked condition, it will not modulate the front till it is locking.

Stoppies are more a function of balance and control than braking.

BMW... There are folks out there claiming that they can stoppie with ABS. I haven't seen it myself though.

Glad these guys are ok. Enjoyed watching some great riders out there.

that's like saying wheelies can happen without throttle. it's balance and throttle control to make a wheelie happen, much like a stoppie being balance and brake control. Sure, once that wheel is up high it requires less resistance, but the brake control is still there....I promise you this.

Quick youtube search, but its in german. I believe they are doing a braking test with the ABS on. Gets the rear wheel up in one of the runs.

I think it's to help pay for their surgeries. Makes me think they don't have medical insurance.

True. $16k of that would be for the ride alone if they were both flown.

I saw that before you posted it. It looks like the first test runs are with ABS on, then they turned it off.

Hard to tell since they're speaking that kraut talk.

I do think youre right because a rough translation of the on-screen text is something like "testing all modes of ABS."
