Isn't that the answer to everything?

As far as defending...don't go to the track unless you are prepared to be sent to the hospital, at some point. It's a fact of life. Assigning blame for why you got hit / hurt / killed / maimed ....pointless. Should you choose to go roadracing, you choose to take the risk of everything that can happen.

The level 3 crash was in turn 13. It's a quick chicane and when in a pack at speed visibility is limited. Everyone is wired to panic in a panic situation, level 3 or level 1. The lower the speed, the easier it is to endo.

You're right, I was referring to the other person saying it's a purely level 1 mistake. You definitely risk getting in an accident when you go to the track.

Also not sure how I messed up the turns, didn't look that closely apparently.

Well, I thought it was a pretty good day. Bit warm, but still pretty good. I wouldn't call it a crash fest in the typical sense because we didn't lose an inordinate amount of track time. The Level 1 crash was conveniently right at the lunch break, and the Level 3 crash didn't seem to take very long to clean up. I seem to average about 165 miles/trackday at TWS (Texas World Speedway), and on Monday I managed 155, despite skipping the last 10 minutes and not being at the front of the line each session. Level 2 didn't appear to have anyone that was terribly slow, so seldom felt impeded. Always plenty of erratic lines and braking, to keep it entertaining. Looking forward to next weekend at COTA. :-)

Level 1, complete the pass before the halfway point of the straight . The girl pushed those limits/guidelines, so did the rider behind her.

There's no inside passing, theres a 6ft passing rule as well. If everything was followed in this case, nothing would have happened. Lol idk what's so complicated about that?

Man it was a rodeo, cowboys every where. Riding L2 I seen at least 2 crashes and 6 off roads, I ran wide in turn 3 and hopped the curb.

Great insight, how should they handle a pit wall?

Hope everyone heals up OK.

Neither of them hit a wall, the incident was in turn 7. Maybe if you did a better job at instructing and not stuffing other students around the track you'd pay more attention

I know they didn't. It was directed at your skilled commentary and past experience. Experience is the best teacher.

Did I stuff you at some point and hurt your feelings?

Nah, I'm slow, old, and fat. Oh wait...maybe I did.

I'll just leave this here.
