I was told at pp1 after the accident, once this group got in it, they never really let off. So u had a few bikes behind the leaders going out of their way to attempt to keep up...

I no longer lead large groups with these speeds. Wouldn't want it on my conscience if someone gets hurt or worse killed trying to keep up with my dumb .

Sad night, no one learns

name calling isnt at all necessary here. you wont accomplish anything. there are more mature ways to voice your opinion. those bikes that went out of their way did so by their own free will. everyone, whether they are willing to admit it or not, knows the skills they possess or dont possess. People stroke their own egos without the encouragement of others.

Sam is my friend and hed help you out whether he knows you or not. So think a lil before you call someone out.

Glad he is alive! be careful folks! There is a time a place for the fast riding! It is at the track! At least there if you go down you have a great chance of walking way with only your ego busted!

Wishing him a speedy recovery!

i left to go home instead of on that ride too. i kept saying allen parkway is bad news and even worse for newbie.

i talked to him last night about his gsxr. apparently brand new, but it was his second bike. his mohawk is blue or black i believe.

i'll be sure to stop by there tomorrow after work if hes still in the hospital.

no joke about that right there, i mean i dont front and slap me sideways if i ever come across any of you and make a squid-azz move...but i am still tryin to make my mind if i wanna join the cycle world but of this nature spooks the outta me and at times i would rather fix up the 68' than buy my dream bike, but been wanting to join this sport for years now and i think that i have learned/experienced nough to get me through and start it up but most def i will do this the right way.....

in the four months ive been on this board, i count 2 people.

for the number of bikes that go out there, not hte percentage is not high. not saying thats a good thing, ANYONE getting hurt/killed is always terrible. im just wondering wehre the "pp1 kills people' mentality comes from. squids are EVERYWHERE, not just at starbucks. you honestly think people would STOP dying if they met somewhere else? at a library perhaps? or an old folks home? to stop going somewhere because of rif-raf *cough* ASI *cough* is one thing, but to jump on the "im better than everyone that goes to pp1 thats why i dont go there and talk about them" bandwagon is another. ive been there i think three times. guess what, nothing happened while i was there. guess that just flushes your "percentage" theory down the terlet, eh? of course, i go to meet people from MH as a meeting spot, get a cup of joe, make fun of the yuppies and ride for a little while, not to hang out with squids.

2 in 2 weeks is a huge %.

but keep telling yourself that, after the next few funerals you may get a clue.

and im sure their loved ones will be looking over the casket saying "if only he hadnt gone to starbucks, he'd still be alive".

btw, "percentage" by definition is a way of expressing proportion by comparing one number to another, using 100 as a common demoninator. what number exactly are you comparing 2 to?

gimme a clue.....
