New rider from College Station

Ive been meaning to introduce myself for a while on this forum, I currently have my bike listed in the classifieds, that's not why I joined the forum though! I have a 2006 CRF450X I made street legal and now I am looking to trade for a larger engine supermoto. I'm new to on road riding but grew up riding dirt bikes. I'll be using my bike mainly for commuting to class but also exploring and off-roading occasionally. Would love to find some people to ride with in the Bryan/College Station area or in Katy when I'm home from school. I really enjoy this forum and know I can learn a lot from y'all!

Welcome, and good luck with the sale. I grew up on dirt bikes as well. I ride street and dirt now. I'm actually headed to Texas World Speedway on Monday for a RideSmart trackday...I hope the weather holds up.

Hey man, I have a 2007 Husqvarna sm610. Im here in College Station too. Currently trying to get her started again, but a lot of the mechanics here refuse to help since she is foreign... I am a new rider and am looking for someone to ride with and learn from.

Awesome ya I'm hoping to make it out to Texas motor speedway once I get a supermoto! Sweet I was actually looking to get a husky but I could certainly help you try to get her going. I'd like to go exploring with some other riders as well. Is the 07 efi or carb?

Yo! Its got the carb!
Definitely trying to get her started. I have her running, but if you let off the throttle to downshift, lots of back fire. Then when you actually pull the clutch in while downshifting, it COMPLETELY kills the bike.
