My first ride with the Blackbird and my friend's ZX14.

Only has 98xx miles, just had to replace the fuel pump and filter, tires and now the Fuel Pressure Regulator (after most recent ride)

Waiting to see if any little gremlins pop up again, until I move to install a Full Yoshi system and PCIII.

That tail though...

I'm still loving my CBR1100xx, I really want a FZ-07 though. And I need to get my 2001 R1 on the road.

We need to get these 900SS/SP's out to a track day and show the young whippersnappers what a real bike does.

The sound alone from a large group of air cooled 2V at speed would overwhelm them.

The tech is old as , but that doesn't mean that it's not a capable, sporty bike. I'm sure that most don't feel like it would qualify as a true sport bike at the time it was built, but the same could be said of most Katanas. I remember a time (early in their production cycle) that as a kid I thought that Katanas were one of the coolest sport bikes on the road.

My buddy surprised a lot of 600's and 750's at the drag strip on a B12 in the early '00's. That's part of what made me want one to begin with. Maybe "muscle bike" would be more fitting that "sport bike".

Muscle bike maybe more appropriate, but with a K7-8 GSXR1000 shock and early GSXR 750 forks I've had no problems keeping up on back roads.

I love Blackbirds and ZX11s...

I had a 98' ZX11 I bought new...

I still have a dinosaur 00' Hayabusa. Up until last year I still had an 01' GSXR1000..

I just never really had a need for a new bike since 00'...just nothing really JUMPED out at me...Until the BMW S1000RR came out..

I still love all the old 90s Sportbikes....

Favs: 96' Smokin Joes CBR600, 98' TLR, 98 R1, 99 ZX9R (blue), 98' 916..., 97' ZX7R Raptor..., any 80s VMAX..

Yes...I'm old.
