Older Sport Bike Owners?

I just picked up a 2003 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird, love it.

Any other "older" sport bike owners?

Not sure if its a "sportbike" but I recently picked up a 1974 Suzuki GT380. In its day it was considered a sporty mid sized bike. Like a 600 is today

those bikes arent technically old to me yet. anything more recent than 1996 is still a pretty "new" street bike to me (in terms of power and technology) old would be more like early 90's and beyond. The sport bikes of the last 15-20 years can still do like 170+ mph right?

haha, my first thought upon reading the first post is if you were wondering whether there were owners of older sport bikes, or older people with sport bikes.

I consider my old '97 Bandit 1200 to be an older sport bike because it was based off the old GSXR 1100 engine, not to mention steel framed. That was still a fun bike and ever since getting rid of it I've been hoping to replace it. Finally did, though with something that's not really "older" or true "sport" bike, an '06 Sprint ST.

1975 CB750. It was a badass in the day, apparently. It was the start of the big 4's.

Rode it, loved it, discovered it had a bent exhaust valve from the previous owner. Tore it apart 2 years ago. Now it's getting a big bore 836cc... :-) Just trying to find the time to finish it.

Currently on another old, easy sport tourer for commuting. 1987 BMW K75. It's a smooth brick, and I like it.

EDIT: I'm 30, almost as old as my bike. Ha.

Older What?

I think I have this topic covered, no matter how you look at it. I have a 1982 KZ750 and I am approximately as old as dirt.
