That's really not that bad. Those fees are affordable. What would scare me are just the costs to run a bike out there many times a month. Actually the costs would scare my wife and she in turn would scare me. Lol.

They run cars alternating sessions luckily.

30 mins bikes 30 mins cars. Pretty cool watching some really nice cars come out sometimes.

these ever changing "flavor of the month" initiation fee. You can either feel glad you paid it and are done or you can feel screwed

Yes, I know. What I was asking was whether the folks from MH with memberships take their cars out. I'd be game for that.

True story - I was along for the ride. It was epic until the end…then just smoke.

Not sure if anyone already corrected this but after they restructured they changed the membership fees. Its $5000 initiation across the board. There are no longer different levels of memberships. The monthly fee is $275. I think they got rid of the 2 free guest passes per year also. They upped the guest fee to $300. No matter how I looked at it.. it wasn't worth it. The calendar is full almost every weekend. You still have to pay when you ride with track orgs. If you buy a membership it's just because you want to have one. It's definitely not going to save you money.

It has saved me lots of money, and I paid nowhere near 5k to join.

Clearly, you don't know Jred.

Squeaks when he walks....just saying.

It saves him money, or he wouldn't have analyzed and done it.

When I first started riding back in November of '07, I got in something like 45 track days from November through March. When you are riding that much, it makes a lot of sense. Of course now I haven't been there for two years on the bike or in the car... priorities, priorities.

It would be cool if you could temporarily transfer the contract to someone else for a couple months at a time : )
