sucks. I just got a flat this morning getting to work on a 3-week old tire. It replaced a 4-week old tire that was flattened by a nail last month. So this will be my 3rd rear tire in the past 7 weeks.

I'm heading to Discount MC Tire in Pasadena on Thursday night to get a new one. If you can't find something here, get a quote from them. Their prices are low.

you must have to go through some nasty construction. might be worth it to get tires from cycle gear and get the motoguard.

I just had the same problem last weekend on my new Pilot rear tire . I went to Stubbs on telephone road and asked about having the hole patched. He looked at me like I was crazy and told me that they only replace tires . NO suggestions as to other options or who may fix it. Does anybody know of a place where I can have it patched?
Thankss

Put a plug in it! Works pretty good if you do it right. Better than spending 160 for another tire

nope, just a run of really bad luck. these were avon's, so i'll be trying for a warranty replacement (they will replace if you are in the 1st 10% of tread wear).

cameron1507, here is a cheap deal on some lightly used M3's: Metzler M3's. 120/60 and 160/60 if i remember right.

Thanks. First time for me. I'd like to see someone who has done it before first, though. I'll try the Pasadena Kawasaki the first time.

Yeah, I just ordered a set for my '04 R6 too from CycleGear's tire sale...a SET for $160. Can't beat that! :confused2

If you order the MotoGuard, you'll be set if it happens again. Cheap enough.
