man, if only if it were that easy... i am proud to be an American and a Texan, but the racism that I have experienced make it hard... yes, there are some groups that refuse to blend with western culture, but on the same note I have been ostracized by the very groups one needs to 'melt' with.

It is part of life that people of different skin colors dislike people of other skin colors... Unfortunately those people are ignorant and you can't base everything on the small group of idiots there are out there. You have to look past those idiots and ignore any stupid comments/insults that they can come up with... Bottom line is they are scared of what they don't know. Ignorance only breeds fear and hate. It is all about educating our young at this point. We can't change the existing, but we can shape the future. Progression is better than repression and segregation.

I feel the same way. I don't care what you look like, your family might be African, Italian, Irish whatever else, but when you were born in America, that made you an American. I don't go around saying im an Italian American.

Indiana? Wow! Crazy! WTF, those ignorant people. They should learn a lesson from a guy name Abe Lincoln about "all men are created equal". I'm surprised to hear about that north of the Mason/Dixon line. Glad you don't hate whitey indoMLA!

I've put in my .02 on the race/nationality issue. I'm going to quit post whoring this "DATE ME" thread. Sorry gideon!

Well, back to lurking!
