My first car was a Z. I loved that car. Great gas, fun to drive, looks sweet. When I finally got rid of her she had 258,000 miles and the only thing I had to do was rebuild the tranny (first standard).

I would take the Z over the TA anyday.

I would have bought the Z. not that you plan on rebuilding the motor or anything, but I had to tear one of those bad boys down from the heads up and it wasn't fun. half the motor sits under the dash board and I literally removed the radiator so I could stand at the front of the block to work on it. It's a , but I would guess that you probably pay someone to work on your vehicles these days. G/L on whatever it is you get.

youre all noobs.

both of those Z cars are non-turbo. less power than the TA obviously, and MUCH less power than a TT z. but IMO, id rather have an N/A z32 anyways because of the reliability factor. lets face it, its now an "older" car, so maintainence plays a roll here.

ive been a z enthusiast for over a decade. if you go with the 300, you WILL NOT be disappointed. guaranteed. its a fun car, much more reliable, better milage, handling, looks, etc. its a true SPORTS CAR. the TA isnt a bad car ,but its a muscle car. good for straight lines, nothing more. not much fun in the curves, i promise you, and obviously the milage sucks.

if you get the z, lemme know. i know EVERY FRIGGIN SITE KNOWN TO MAN for them. anything you need, you can find.

happy hunting.

BUY JAPANESE!! Your driveway/garage floor will thank you. :laughing6

The Nissan Z was my dream car back in the day. TT version of course. The only complaints I really heard back then was it was too heavy!

As far as gas milage, if you do a LOT of highway driving, the T/A probably isn't so bad. I used to commute 70 miles (one way) I had a nissan pickup and a z-28 6-speed. Both had 15 gallon tanks, both used the same amount of gas on the highway. In the city, the Z-28 used about double. :laughing6

Why not just buy an Accord?

Good mileage
Good looking
Sweet handling
Safety

And best of all...the women, they flock to The Accord. Perhaps not as much as they do a rice rocket, but close. You can roll "caged" in style, mad pimpin'
