Assuming he doesn't indignantly confess right off the bat, repeatedly putting bricks & nails on a public road should be enough to get hefty fines, and eventually jail time if he keeps doing it. If you can establish intent, you can go for criminal charges.

Either way, if someone started booby-trapping the road I was using, I'd use a new road o_O

(blah blah you have no idea who I am), blah blah.

I don't advocate going out on public roads and being an idiot anymore than you do Chubby, I ride with in my limits and I advocate everyone else do the same if the situation allows it. There are times when the situation doesn't allow you to ride anywhere near your limits or even the posted limits. It’s like a fighter pilot on a training mission... the number one objective is return home with man and machine in the same or better condition than you left.

What I do say is there are ways we can all enjoy one of the few semi curved roads near Houston without being disrespectful or disturbing the mutual peace. I'd rather have a responsible rider running that road within his limits safely at 100mph than a squid making a mess of it for all of us trying to do a wheelie even if he does it at 5mph below posted.

The various capabilities of your machinery do play a factor in what speeds one can safely traverse a given set of curves. It should go without saying that the machine is only as capable at any given moment as the pilot at the controls, but I guess you need me to say it.

I was simply pointing out that triple digits does not automatically mean one is being reckless or endangering anyone, Particularly when it is the middle of the primary operating envelope of a particular piece of equipment(conditions not withstanding of course.)

They can and it is appreciated. Everything else including speculation on intent and actors is not.

What the motor is capable of producing straight up and down (which for anything less than a litre ISN'T the 186+ you previously mentioned) and what the tires and suspension are capable of absorbing cranked over are very, very different things.

I expect you'll play some nature of plausible deniability/"that's not what I said" BS here too.

Calm down Chubby, ride your ride I'll ride mine. I know you racers don't have or don't look at your speedos but its no great feet to go through a 55mph posted sweeper at over a ton with plenty of lean and safety margin, not that I'm advocating it, I'm just stating at 100mph there are machines that aren't even out of bed yet in terms of lean, grip, or power. But hey you have a race number and I don't so I'm sure you are right about everything with regards to my life and motorcycles.

Not once did he bring up his "race number" or racing experience as credibility

I'm not insulting him by bringing mentioning his racing experience. I made reference to a number of things that were ignored in favor of things that weren't really even implied. I expressed my opinion to with Chubby retorted we clearly don't agree on the particulars although I think we do in principle. One doesn't come by a race number without a certain level of training and demonstrating a high level of skill. That said it doesn't grant one superior status or knowledge to others without said race number. I've been around long enough to admit I don't know, haven't seen nor comprehend it all. It doesn't matter enough to argue in a manner that's not fun.
