Why TF are you worried about 12K? Byrdman has not rdden so it is unlikely to blow up.

Seriously, 12K is nothing....

12k is plenty of time for an idiot to run a DRZ without oil.

But even then, for that price (unless it's a massive shitpile with busted rotors, forks, rims, and a bent frame) you can afford to throw in new/better parts.
4k would probably get you that bike, a 434BB kit, 39mm FCR MX carb, SS braided brake lines, and all the miscellaneous bullshit you need to replace on a bike that's sat for a while.

Haha, he told me he thought he jumped time on it a while back and it had sat since. He also said he wouldn't allow someone to attempt starting it prior to purchase it so I said no thx.

Caveat Emptor

Not the mileage that does it.

Well, I guess you could buy it as a parts bike for whenever your DRZ sheds a bolt/exhaust/wheel.

Haha $2500 paper weight? Id at least spin the motor over by hand using the fly wheel to see how bad it is....but not for $2500. His ad made it seem like it was a carb clean.

It is just a carb clean, the only problem is there are engine parts in the carb.
