07 R6 custom map

I was wondering if anyone may have a map they could share with me for my 07 Yam R6. I have smog block off, GYTR Full System with shorty, no o2, race filter. I am currently running graves map, but I have a dead lag from 1200-4500K, then just shoots off like a beast. Thanks for any help.

What are you using to load the map a power commander or bazzaz?

I have autotune for the bazzaz, im sure I could let you use it at a trackday. Or someone here might have a autotune for power commander

In other words: you have an r6. Realistically, they're nutless below 10k rpms.

Plenty of nuts just has a lag and is dangerous IMO. Im using PCIII but thinking of upgrading to bazzaz TC Kit. If I upgrade im wanting to go complete dash that interfaces with some kind of track lap timer software (Data Logging Capable) video or what ever I can. So if upgrading is option I would like to know what the best is for the 07 R6 and my 06 R1LE. I want to do both the same so I am only dealing with one software and tuning will be easier once I learn the software.

This^

my 07 was suuuuper smooth, but had NO BALSS (compared to my kawi) until higher rpms. I have a custom map at home I can send ya to look at. It had full LV system, block offs, but still had 02.

ALSO- 6000rpm is when your secondary injectors kick in. There will likely be a kick there no matter what

Mine does too....after 10k rpms. Honestly, your r6 is track only. You shouldn't have a clue what the power is like that far down the tach. If you're down there, you're in the wrong gear.

I just traded this bike for my 05 r1, it has supposedly built motor and was a wera race bike. I have the build sheet but honestly have not opened it up internally. 1st ride on it MSRH after having race take offs put on, first corner after launch the front end washed out on me. We found out later the front tire was 7 years old, and after being on warmers was harder than a rock and slick feeling. So I have no experience with the throttle rpm range, I just know that maint throttling if I'm right at the 4-4500 range could get a little interesting??? I added fuel to upper RPM'S on power commander and it fixed the lean poping on decel, but didn't want to add more than + 7-10 on low rpm and make to rich on low end. I feel it's far on low side right now, but don't want to go lower than the current 0 at low RPM'S and lean it out either. So I was wanting to try someone's map that has had same type of issues that didn't kill the bike. And maybe the 06,07 r6 are just laggy at bottom end. Both tps sensors are in spec so I'm a little baffled.

Which is the next trackday youre going to? I have a couple friends that are experienced with the 06 07 r6, i could also hop on it and see what you're feeling if for some reason neither are there which I highly doubt

Also I still think if you want to get the bazzaz autone package, thatd be a great idea. If not, load a few different exhaust maps on your laptop, take it to the track and load different ones to see which one is the best

Can you get in contact with whoever built the motor?

and you should never really be "maint throttle" at 4500 RPM's on a R6. The R6 is like s 2 smoker she likes her neck to be wrung out i purposely taped over my MPH and RPM cluster to where i could only see 10k-17.5k RPM if i wasn't seeing that RPM then i was in the wrong gear for the turn.

I will be at the next fastline MSRH track day. I appreciate the help guys, I will take you up in the offers, and would like mr.337 to do a flash. I am use to a liter bike, and have been for years. Honestly I never road a 600, my first bike was a 1987 GSXR 1100 hyper sport at age 17. I never went to smaller bike less 998cc. I got the 6 to have a smaller bike for tracks like GSS and such. I'm getting older and liter bike just wears me out quicker these days. I have seen some very fast guys and gals on 250's thru 600's. They look like they are a bit easier to throw around and plain fun. I look forward to speaking with you guys and learning a new bike. Guys on this forum have been great to deal with and very helpful. I return the favors any time I can. If anyone has boat issues let me know. I have been working in outboards for 21 years and can pretty well tell you your problems just by you telling me your symptoms. But when it comes to bikes it's a different ball game. I prefer to do what I know and leave the bike experts to do what they know. Thanks again, and mr.337 I will send you a pm with my contact info.
