Who has an 08 cbr1000?? Need help.
I recently blew my motor on my 2011 Cbr1000. I have a replacement which is from a 2008 and also have the wiring harness along with it. I got the motor in and running using my 2011 ECU. There are very few diffences from these 2 years and the only ones are some of the sensors.
Well the motor starts right up and runs yet, there are many codes that it is throwing all having to do with sensors. Im wondering if using a 2008 ECU will fix this problem. Does anyone have a 2008 that I could borrow the ECU from just to test out for an hour or two? I dont want to buy one if thats not going to sovle the issue.
