Nails in the forest....

Some fucktard is obviously laying down nails and screws in the forest...be careful...this video is from 8/9/2014, but I know some other guys who got flats from this as well a few weeks prior. My tire didn't puncture luckily...went in straight sideways into tread.

Man, I didn't see whatever it was you wanted the video to show. All I thought was, "look at small town Texas in the 1940s."

That's the only spot we have seen them. They have thrown out nails, screws and staples on that corner. Someone needs an kickin...freakin hillbillies

Two of my buddies got flats a few weeks ago, and another guy a couple of weeks before that...

I can't see clearly the nails but a friend of mine stopped there and picked up a bunch nails not too long ago... I think he is a member here... I know he is a member of the Houston Gixxers...

Holy ! That looks intentional, unless there's a redneck living out there that can't secure his load of nails. A game camera on one of those nearby trees would be a good way to catch someone.

Somebody's either mad at tires, or falls out of their trash truck

When you watch the video, be sure to put it on 720, otherwise you wont be able to see the nails. Also, try pausing it. But yes, this is the only location we are aware of. You can avoid this part of road, by going straight and using the gravel road.

Thanks. Hopefully a lot of people will watch this, and either catch the person doing it, or avoid the nails. Think the news would cover something like this? Maybe set up a camera?

Most the locals on the forest route are not friendly at all. They are tired of bikes going at "high rate of speed" and all the noise that come from the bikes. Better find another routes.

I really don't understand why someone would be doing that. I have never seen anyone hauling through that town or doing anything else that would someone off so bad they would try and kill someone. That is what will eventually happen when someone's tire goes in a corner down the road.

Well, it's not just bikes that are getting the nails I'm sure. I'm sure tons of cars have gotten flats too. They're just trying to cause flat tires, bikes and cars. Probably some local idiot who just wants to be an I bet.
