I don't think anyone bothers with cut slicks around here. Do you mean full wets?

Contact Whoop, his info is on his sponsor page for Whoopie Cycles.
I would say he's your best bet.

The cmra boards would be a better place to ask as well.

what do racers do when the track starts getting wet do they pause the race while everyone changes tires or are they all responsible for their own pit times to get the rain tires on?

Depending on how much water. Rain tires only work if theres a good amount of water on the surface. If its just wet and drying its better to not run the rain tires because it can damage the tread.( thats what i have heard from vendors) From what i noticed is that those who have rain tires, if they know its going to rain they put them on another set of rims and just have them ready. If its raining before the race most wont race in the rain because its not worth getting hurt or damaging your bike. Its better to just lose the $80.

Most dont have/cant afford extra rain tires. For track days a lot of people just pack up and call it a day. Same thing, better to waste a track day and not ride than to have a bad fall. Ive ridden a track day when the surface was really wet and there where puddles every where. The puddles where on the line to so everyone had to alter the line which meant slowing down a lot. Also a lot of crashes happened that day. I went down later in the day but it was minor.

are there rain checks for track days? I would be pretty if the track day insisted on having the race (in the rain) just to avoid giving people a chance to return on a sunnier day.

If you were just talking about trackdays, I can say that I haven't had any days get refunded/moved because of weather. Even last year when Ridesmart was as MSRH and the morning felt like a hurricane, couldn't see gut check from pit straight, they kept it going. I packed up and left, but I heard it got better in the afternoon.

So yeah, if that will you off, prepare to get . Lol
