Since it happened twice today that we lost riders I felt compelled to write a short "How to ride in a group for ADV/Dirt riders" as a refresher'

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh....php?p=3803209

Other than that, it was fun, lets do that again!

Andy,
I am very sorry we lost you. We waited at the next intersection for a few minutes then sent Brad to look for you. Brad rode back and was gone for 15 mins or so; he couldn't find you.

I checked the board to see if you had PM'd me and if I had your number. No luck. We then went on in to industry and waited another 15 mins. Brad posted on the board where we were and how long we were going to wait. He told me later that he didn't think his post was saved, but I see it in this thread.

What happened? That segment wasn't long and seemed to be pretty clear. I thought you might have left the ride since you had Nav.

We didn't lose Brad. He made a wrong turn and I went back to find him. He and I were able to get in touch and agreed to meet at Orzaks.

Nah, didn't "leave" the ride until we came to a T intersection not knowing which way to go. No problem though that can happen. We are adults and can care and fend for ourselves, Sorry that you spent 15 in the heat waiting.

Apparently there was some turn we did not know to make and therefore must have gone wrong.

flat tire; running out of fuel; lots of dust.... typical adv ride. The route turned out to be a good one with only two gated/private roads. I'll clean up the route and repost it.

I was actually glad I filled the tank up after al. Made it much easier to wheelie!
