While I said I hardly ever wave, I do nod. I just feel like there's usually a better use for my hands (like controlling the motorcycle) than waving.

Haha, I used to wave to trikes with 3 fingers instead of 2.

I still have yet to see the wave out on the road.

It really depends the cop. I now live in the Coppell (Dallas) area and some of the cops wave to me before I even attempt to while others would ignore me. Just take it with a grain of salt.
