Question Need help with engine rebuild

Hi, so we have an '04 Mustang Mach I, which my son and brother ambitiously thought they could do the rebuild on (it threw a rod). As they were taking it apart they realized they bit off more than they could chew (so to speak). It's an Aluminator 4.6L engine with a number of performance upgrades.

We had the block rebuilt by Houston Engine & Balancing and the heads needed a little bit of machining, done by Westside. We really need someone with more expertise than us to put it all back together and in the car.

Can anyone recommend an individual or reputable shop we could send it to without costing us big bucks? I won't go back to Houston Performance, so no need to mention them. There are quite a few performance shops around and since we ultimately want to sell the car I don't want another bad experience...or one that could put us in the poor house.

I checked with a shop in Katy and they wouldn't give us an estimate without seeing it. I don't really want to haul the car, engine, tubs of parts around trying to get an estimate...just a ballpark amount is good.

Can anyone offer recommendations for us? We're on the NW side of town but willing to go across town if needed. Thanks!
