Wondering if I buy full system for my r1 besides buying the full exhaust what more would I have to do to the bike for example to the ecu chip or a power commander??

With any aftermarket exhaust, whether full or slip-on, you either need to have the ECU flashed or add a fuel management system (Power Commander or Bazzaz).

I wouldn't say any aftermarket exhaust. There's a lot of slip on exhausts that don't require any mapping and won't cause issues without it.

A full exhaust definitely needs a tune though.

If you can't get them both at the same time, get the Power Commander first. That way you're not sitting around looking at your exhaust in a box waiting for the PC to come in.
