July-August, and sometimes Dec-Feb can be rough. I still don't mind riding during these times, but special precaution does have to be taken, because the hot or cold can cause serious fatigue, and generally make riding not fun.

I consider myself lucky to live someplace where riding year-round is possible.

I do and I wear leather jackets and chaps!!

Don't have an issue with the heat as far as I am hydrated before going out.

In top of the jacket I always wear my MC vest.

To add insult to the injury: weekdays I ride at rush hour.

This is me a few days ago trying an old perforated leather jacket. 110 degrees according to the bike thermometer.

Has to be ice to get me to stop riding. Last winter was pretty chilly above 100mph but still bearable.

While I ride every-month of the year, I will say I like October-December and March-May

Those are the months where the Low's don't drop to something too crazy below 45 and the High's stay in the 70's, and I don't have to put a Hoodie on underneath my Jacket.

July and August are the worst time of the year to ride in Texas. It's easier to gear up for cold weather than it is for hot weather, especially in Texas.
