BEST GAS PRICE

I put on just under 100 miles/day. I ride to work as often as I can and it's 46 miles one way. Then add a few more miles for lunch or a quick errond. If I drive my car it costs me ≈$350/month. Riding the bikes is less than half that and more than twice the fun.

Bantering about fuel on another thread lead me to try this thread out as an idea. One day I needed to stop for gas and I paid $3.49 at Exxon. Two lights further and it was $3.29. 10 gallons cost me $2.00 more. I'm not poor but I do pick up change if I see it on the ground. If you care to do any math you can see that over a month that would start to add up.

So, to help us all save a few I thought we might want to share some good prices or really good quality fuel (cappuccino machines included :-) we've found in our own local areas. Also, some places we might want to stay away from. I don't expect anyone to drive to my side of town, but if you happen to get to the south, I'll start the thread off with these really good prices, and current as of today:
***************************
Sam's on 45s and 2004 is at $3.19 for 87. It's consistanly the lowest buy a lot.
***************************
Time Out Food Mart at 6 and Warpath in Santa Fe is at $3.13 for 87.
***************************
Shell on Airport right out near Hobby was $3.61 yesterday.

based on your other thread I have to ask... do the stations you listed have individual hoes for each octane? If not people should be weary of all the genesis out there pouring gas on the ground because they donít want to get a couple quarts of the wrong octane

otherwise walmart with a walmart card to lower the price by .15 or I pay cash so I get the cash price at valero.

Not sure how sarcasm applies to using a wrong word and/or misspelling a word?

Also pumps would have individual hoses not hoes.
