SH 6 No Passing Zone

The work to install medians on SH 6 from IH 10 to US 290 has begun. Check out the no passing zone in the Addicks Reservoir:

There was one similar, in midtown, but just one, sticking up from the ground.
Twas on main, north bound, at WInkler or whatevers street Jack in the Box, Fiesta, Sears, SHipleys on. They fixed it not too long ago.

When youre taking a left, going towards 59, there it is. No flag though.

I'm glad they're putting a median up in this area. Too many dumbasses causing wrecks trying to make U-turns. You can already see damage to the rods where cars have made attempts still.

HOW ELSE do you propose concrete to be poured and then not move from idiots that hit the curb? That rebar doweled in existing pavement is only part of the final construction.
