yeah, it was a 280zx, 82 model, coupe. comes from the factory with 5lbs of boost, plenty of boost for as much compression as it was running from the factory.

i had it intercooled and running 12psi. it would scare you.

My mom had a 77 280Z. Inline 6 (non-turbo) with a 5 speed in it. That little car hauled !! I miss it. It was really clean! You dont see them in that good of shape anymore.

no you dont. the s30 (70-78 zcars) never had turbos. the 280zx came out in 79, and the turbo was introduced in the 81 1/2 model. from the factory, they would do 14 on the quarter. which aint to shabby for those days.

I didnt know when exactly the turbo was offered, i just know my moms didnt have one. It still scooted for what it was.

We actually still have the stock interior(black seats) out of it in mint shape. Hers was a 2+2. I need to find someone with a datsun 2+2 that needs seats which shouldnt be hard cause usually when i do see a datsun, the interior is trashed.

2+2s in that body style were pretty rare. the front seats you'd have not probs selling, but the back seats, good luck. theyll fit any z from 70-78 (which was the 240z to the 280z), but still rare.

and yeah, theyd move pretty good. not alot of hp pre se, but they didnt weigh either, lol.

Yeah, i havent seen a 2+2 since we sold my moms awhile back. Front seats i figure we can unload easy like you said but id rather they go as a set since they match.

And yeah, it was light. I remember it had fiberglass front fenders and most of the car was all hood and motor. lol
