Really? That's too bad. Cruisers are NOT for racing or going fast!! the name says it: Cruiser just to be cruising around!! That's why I enjoy them so much. I have never been into speed and the few times I did it was on the freeway and long straight segments just to test the engine. My fastest bike was the Speed Triple and I chicken out when I hit the 120MPH mark (per GPS), second fastest bike was my VROD and I only hit 110 MPH once.

If you are into speed take it to the track. Back in the day I use to go on the MH rides but I always was behind and never able to catch up with the group. I always rode within my capabilities and I have never trust the back roads for going fast.

Be safe out there.

I think the LOL is because of the guy trying to keep with the sport bike.

Except for when the same guy posts in a thread about a squid saying he was hoping for an RIP thread.

Dude who cares? I mean yeah it's sad and I don't want them to die, but I can't feel sorry for them at all. It's like leaving your door wide open when you leave the house and asking me to feel sorry for you being burglarized. I mean it's messed up to say that he'd HOPE for an RIP thread but I just can't understand why someone would ride like that.

Yes I can't understand squids either but I also can't understand someone wanting them dead because they ride like that.

Lol'ing at someone else's misfortune is pretty messed up. There is a lot of area between feeling sorry for a cruiser that crashed trying to keep up with a sportbike and lol'ing.

I'm glad the rider is doing OK.
I recognize some riders and the road of this picture. If I'm not wrong these are the Houston Gixxers and these guys know all the roads around here better then everyone I know. They have been riding together for a long time and even on their "slow ride" they are very fast for most people.
It looks like a turn or two before, where Jim "Wolverine" crashed.
Be careful out there boys and girls and remember to where all your gear all the time
