K4 GSXR WONT STAY ON

Just got back from cruise to Galveston and this started happening in Houston. Was at stop light in neutral and it died started back up and died, had start up while giving it throttle to start when riding felt like gas wasn't getting through wasn't steady and would lose power for a sec and kick back in like I was moving throttle, started it up after finally making it home and it was idleing weird after I rev it one time died

First think I do on any older gixxer....Clean the sh*t out of battery terminals Check the battery (with a real battery tester) and charging system. They do strange things when they don't get all the power/ground they want. Those bikes were Pre- take over so there's nothing to em.

Well tried cleaning terminals and the put it on tender and it says full charged also took off gas tank and am not sure what exactly it was but the hose from what looked like the airbox? But could've been throttle bodies that runs down and am not sure what it connects to was not on anything but nothing was leaking and I put it back on, also when I had tank up bike seemed to stay on and idle at regular rpm as opposed to when tank was down

Lol don't know how I fixed it but seems to be working fine now...pulled fuel line and drained some fuel with it priming so I guess that did it
