Hold it where? The mid pipe? A hose clamp should work either way...

not a hose clamp.. lol.

get a Tbolt-clamp and Spring retainers. you don't wanna overtighten the clamp because it could bend the pipe.

I have the same bike (well, 08). What exactly do you mean. Are you putting the OEM exhaust back on? Are you putting an aftermarket pipe on? Either way, you'll need the midpipe and heat sheild that mounts on top of it, as it WILL melt some if it isn't there. OEM slipon would just need to buy 2 bolts/nuts and a couple washers. An aftermarket slipon will come with a bracket. best place to find a midpipe and sheild would be eBay btw. I might know someone who has an oem exhaust, but I know for sure this person has a full Two Brothers system for sale off of an 07 track bike he just sold.

okay my dilemma is, i bought an oem midpipe, and i bought the bike with the slip on just handing off the side, no bolts or anything, what would be a good way to mount the undertail? without buying a new exhaust, because i already have a two brothers slip on, i was just wondering whats a good way to make some brackets vs buying a whole new slip on

Your just going to have to fab up a mounting bracket. You could use big hose clamps, and fab some hangers out of aluminum. never worked on that bike so I cant really offer anything better that that. Shouldn't be too difficult.

More than likely the slip on you have is meant for the GP mounting location. Without pipe bending tools and some fab experience you may be looking at quite a headache trying to get that thing sorted out.

I have a full two bros black edition exhaust I can sell you for cheap. Buy my exhaust and offload the side mount setup completely (I know quite a few guys with the 07/08 zx6r that want to get the side mount setup)

Let me know!
