motohouston neighbor?

So I saw this bike parked next to mine when I got back from work today (no I didn't ride in, I'm having some neck pain ). It had a motohouston.com sticker so I thought I'd see if I had a new neighbor on here. Not that anyone would know me, I just read the forum, I don't really participate. Sorry about the fuzzy picture, I was worried it was stolen when I didn't see a license plate (overreaction?) so I tried to be sly... anyway, it didn't match anything on the stolen bike reports so I thought I'd come by this way and say hi to my maybe neighbor (@richmont square apts).

@Yayo uh... are you saying I should not have posted that? I've been parked there since 8/13. I know apartments are "not safe", but when you don't have any other option...

Hey, we're equal opportunity here, everyone pretty much gets the same treatment.

That color green seems like perfect camo next to those bushes. And at least there's a rotor lock on it, but won't do much good if someone decides to pick it up and put it in a van.

Best of luck to the owner on not getting it stolen.

I'd be storing my bike in the actual apartment if I lived in an apartment complex with no garages...... that.

I don't get it. Is that a really nice bike or something? Or do bikes really get stolen that often? I just bought my first bike so this is all new to me. What do I need to do to keep it safe? I'm moving to Houston in a couple months and a personal garage is almost a must-have for me in general (bike, car, and tons of tools). But is it really that bad if I can't get a garage?

Leave anything unattended in Houston and it will be stolen.
