good photography spots

Hey guys, I'm looking for some spots downtown that would make a good spot for a photo session. Does anyone know of anywhere that we can go? Looking for some grafiti/old abandoned building type of backdrops.

Graffiti all over the building, and it's right across the street from a park with some awesome live oaks.

^^^ What pinball said.

I can't tell you how many senior pics, rap videos, etc... I've seen being shot there. It's in Midtown. Each street artist has been given their own section around the building and from what I understand, it's updated every few months.

Just watch the crazies in the park and conceal your piece.

Some of that stuff looks way too busy to me. I would keep the background simple and muted. Your bike, the subject, should be the main focus and most often the prominent foreground in the composition.

some of the stuff in the background blurred out with a 50mm 1.2 would look pretty good though

Yeah, it was getting pretty dark. And I also took them with an old Android phone. I'll have to get the DSLR out in the daylight at some point in the future. Definitely going to check out Dues on the way south this weekend, lol.
