I live near Jacinto City and work near Willowbrook. I wouldnt bicycle that far for any amount of pay. Funny though. When I did bicycle for fun , that distance was met every day

i only use my truck now if i have load to pick up or carry 6 ppl or pull a trailer
other than that its the car 28mpg is as good as it gets for my cages

I will ride my bike even more and probably get a commuter car as well. I would only use the truck for hauling bikes or my horses.

Funny thing, when the gas prices first went up last year, a lot of the horse shows had a lot less entries. It does affect people, whether they want to realize it or not.

I'm gonna get a diesel car and run bio fuel. either that or put a grease kit on it and run straight vegetable oil.

For now, i'm getting 26/gallon in the GTI.

We've put in for work with metro. I've seen the plans for the future rail. It goes out past the galleria and covers a lot of great areas. People will begin using it more and more. Y'all get ready for more construction.

I also foresee commuter trains as well. Perhaps comming in from Galveston, the woodlands, katy, and baytown areas.
