New racetrack coming near Bush Airport?

Just saw this article a minute ago. Looks like the folks from Miller Motorsports Park are looking to build a complex on the north side. please don't let them call it "motorsportz" though. I hate hate hate the whole "Z" instead of an "S" intentional douchy misspelling thing. It's right up there with "Xtreme."

I agree. Put 5 Z's in there for all I care. Just get it built. Just in time for TWS (Texas World Speedway) closing down.

"almost 2 miles of track" that includes the kart track

So I'm guessing something like GSS but smaller and actually taken care of more like MSRH.

The guys on tards will love it.

New Track

I saw the news, read the press release and was excited. I then email Tim (email address from article) and asked about track days for bikes and Mini GP folks. His response was "We would like to make a home for motorcycles".

The more that bikers write Tim and express their interest, the better chance we will have a place to ride.

AND sportsfields and complex as well. Not a bad idea. Won't hold my breath though. It is exciting to see it being backed by Miller....but, does anyone remember Liberty Motorsports Park? Pipe dream.

I'm excited by the idea, but less than 2 miles?

Great for motards and minis, not so much for everyone else...
