I will have one once the recharging is faster/range longer.

I rode a couple in the pits at TWS (Texas World Speedway). Too expensive now, but lots of fun.

I think the possibilities are awesome. Electric motors can develop amazing torque.
Maximum torque starts at 0rpm and decreases as rpm rises, just the opposite of internal combustion.
Lighter batteries, longer life, cheaper price, faster charging, all are obstacles that have to be overcome before they will be viable.
