I did a little research on it, apparently hitting the brake bumps the idle just enough to smooth it out. It will even do it completely balanced on the kickstand, removing the tires from the equation.

I think that was the longest span between double postings. Congrats.

Calculated 101 mpg on the last tank. How far up do you guys fill it? Up to the metal grating or whatever you call it. Half way up the neck? Thoughts?

I fill up as high as i can, only getting 80-90mpg

2 days commuting and I come into the shell near my house on fumes 1.3+gal fillup

I noticed that while sitting still at idle, its fine. Been like that for the last 2500 miles on my grom
