Cresson kicked my (I didn't crash).
I'll post something soon.
We'll talk about that in my post.
For now, I'll save this thread for TWS (Texas World Speedway) folks.

I kept up my pace b/c i wasn't sure when he was coming but, I just knew he was gonna make a move on me and to my suprise, he never did. Can't really say that i won that race tho.:BangHead:

I can't believe the field was so far back either, there weren't that many guys out there so i thought it would be a faster pace. Sure was nice to go thru T1 alone, except for Jody, but i just let him have it b/c he carries so much speed thru the turns.

Any instructors have any positive or negative feedback for the fat girl on the tractor?

while tryin to catch up and keep up with my 2 students i didn't have much time to keep a very close eye on other riders, from time to time i would break off from the students as i felt they were more than fine on their own and followed quite a few people but, this was later in the afternoon, i did have a few concerns about a couple of guys and had to actually chase em down (1 was on a busa) and check em, make em slow it down a bit, the busa was a fun chase and i busted him on the end of the front straight as he started braking i passed him and made him slow down and follow me. Becca, i did follow you once on the back section while you were tryin to help another rider, (thanks) you looked good, no concerns here.

C group started really slow in the AM and then at the end of the day, some of the guys were really finding their groove..

As for the mock race, it took a while for me to figure out that i checked out on everyone, by then i was in my groove and livin it up, next time i'll be sure to hang with the boys in Yellow.. Usually there are 10 or more FAST guys in the CMRA school, and it is hard for me to keep up with them.

As an instructor as tom mentioned, i am to evaluate the students although yesterday, NO i didn't do my job properly. I'll make up for it next time.

Moe, I noticed that in three of the pics posted here, you were looking to the outside of the turn instead of looking through the turn. It was very obvious in the pics from the horseshoe.

I had also noticed that at one of the pics taken at the TMGP races. Just thought you may want to review that.

Moody, you consistently have good form lately! You body position tells me you were much more comfortable out there this time vs last time! Wish I was able to be out there yesterday, not riding was killing me.

The guy that had the cervical collar after his crash in T-1 is really not OK. He has 3 fractured vertebrae, two of them are cervical vertebrae and one is thoracic. I was really surprised they let him go, especially on top of the concussion he received... but he showed back up at the track and was in good spirits- incredibly lucky, t1 &2 is NO place to go off-roading!

Regarding that, we had two incidents where folks thought they were going in "too hot" to t1 and stood the bike up, then crashed. Turn 1 & 2 are VERY WIDE, most racers come in to that corner way faster than 95% of the guys that were out there today. Besides, would you rather turn the bike and control your speed, with the remote possibility of low-siding in to the grass, or stand the bike up and go in to the grass/ mud and guarantee your demise? Most of the time, you'll make the corner, and that particular corner is like 4 lanes wide!

Everyone looked like they had a good time, I wish I would've been out there!

James, Gabe didn't chase at all, he slowed down about 4 or 5 times that I saw to ride and evaluate the students. You were just the rabbit! Looking good out there!
Thanks! The bike has really started to come together and I am feeling comfortable with it. Brandon did some mystery adjustment and the thing started turning in and railing unlike anything before. Now I just need to work on my lines.

I took about 200 pictures, but probably only a dozen or so are post-worthy. Let me go through them.

Mr. Topless over in T4 should have some good pics too!
Even the ladies are saying move up Rob! :laughing6
