2006 gsxr won't start

I have an 06 gsxr 600. The bike starts up fine but after i ride it for 15 minutes or so the bike won't start back up. It turns over but won't start. If i let it sit for a few minutes it'll start right up. Anyone have a clue?

This problem sounds similar to the one from the alien gas station thread.

Try opening your gas cap next time it won't start.

Might be a tank vent problem.

If you hold the throttle open just a small bit will it start?
How many miles are on the bike?

Just put another battery in it to see if that was the problem. Still does it. Start right up ride for 15 minutes turn it off. But doesn't start back up only turns over.

Pull the regulator off and look for burn marks on the back. It's a known defect on the 06/07 models.

Not the regulator. That and the stator have been replace and I got the MOSFET style regulator.

it was done at 34k bike has 36k not 35. Bike ran fine until wednesday. Did nothing but wash the bike that day rode around town no problems. Rode to PP1 it didn't start there cause i was there for like 5 minutes. Waited for a buddy to bring tools. 20 minutes or so passed by and i decided to give it a try and it started right up. Rode to washington stopped at a bar for about an hour or so. When i left it started right up. I stopped at a gas station on shepherd to pump gas. Bike wouldn't start there just turns over I was thinking it was my bazzaz zfi. So we unhooked the bazzaz there at the gas station which took about 30 minutes. Bike started up fine. Rode home and when i got home i turned off the bike and tried to start it up right after and it doesn't start.
