that bites. sorry to hear. i'll keep a lookout for it.

let this be a reminder to everyone, never let your guard down and at least carry theft insurance if not full coverage. it's not much more for theft if you shop around a bit.

if it was stolen the way you said it was, it was probably someone in your apt complex or a friend of someone that lives in your apt complex. they saw your bike, maybe even heard what happened and saw their chance. they might have been watching you and waiting for the chance to steal it. you might want to question your neighbors, or even the maintenence ppl in the complex. maybe someone saw something. i'll keep my eye out for it tho.
