That is crazy to drive on a road with a motorcycle around every corner. They seem to park unnecessarily close to the road.

The bike scene is crazy out there... LOTS of people commute in LA on bikes since lane splitting is legal and traffic is insane....But up in northern LA the roads are awesome but very deadly.... No guard rails and several hundred feet drops.... You eat out here and your dead.....Not like ending up in the ditch/fence on 3090...LOL

Low humidity and mild temps MAKES you want to ride....I wouldn't even need a car if I lived there....

The bikers are hardcore there too.... Even the Harleys barely had chicken strips and half of the frames grinded down on them... Guys on Ducatis and BMWs out there on race tires with rubber just peeling off the sides... Crazy how hard these guys ride...I was getting scared watching them aim at that hair pin in the pics..LOL.

Hardcore sport bikes are EVERYWHERE.... tons of people commuting on 1199Rs and the like.... MV Augustas, tons of DUCs, BMWs....are every where.. Plus some cool vintage iron that actually gets ridden thru the hills....

If there is anyway I could live there, I would....just not much industry in cali other then entertainment.... and I left my Chippendales job a long time ago so.... I guess I'm stuck here..

It's a whole different ballgame out there when you have enough corners to actually get some heat in the tires. So cool you got to see what makes that place so awesome. Thanks for posting!

Crazy thing is, there are roads all over California just like that. From all the way up the coast, to around the bay area, to the mountains up north, to the mountains going east towards Lake Tahoe.

Yeah no doubt. This is my second time to Cali in a year. Drove down the coast from San Fran the first time, this time we started from Pismo Beach and came down. Awesome roads EVERYWHERE in Cali.. Bike culture is huge out there.. I love it... Lots of killer cars too..

Someday I am going to rent a bike out there... Riders out there are hardcore for sure... Very few chicken strips seen at the whole meet... Twice I've been to the Rock store on Sunday morning and jam packed both times...

Nice pics Alan, looks like you had a great time!

I was about to say, that's Leno's McLaren but see you got pics of him. Did you get to talk to him at the RockStore? He stops by a lot with his latest toy or build...

He wasn't at the Rock Store when we saw him.. I think we were on the 405 when I saw him.. Lots of celebrity motorsport enthusiasts do come out to the RockStore though...

There was some sick sportbikes out there...
