ANY good roads in Brazoria county?

I know there are some other Brazoria cnty residents on here, are there any good roads to ride around here? By good i mean some stretch of pavement where you can actually get some lean in a curve, theres nothing but flat and straight roads, the houston area isnt much better if any.

Not really many curvy roads around here. I always hated that to get to any good roads ya gotta ride like 100 miles. There are some closer exceptions but the po po know them to.

yes, there are a few good roads in brazoria county. if youre going north on coming from freeport, theres county rd 400 (just before you hit jones creek), itll take you all the way to , just cross over the highway and keep going. itll end up in brazoria. theres also the road in columbia lakes thats pretty good. dead ends on 1462. and one more that i can think of: im not sure the name of the road, but its the last set of flashing yellow lights on 36 before you get to west columbia. take a left and itll end up out by sweeny.

You may try the road taht runs thru Liverpool, between 35 and 2004. Also Cowcreek rd, which runs along the Brazos, from 1462 to hwy 35. It starts just east of 762 near Brazos bend state park, and comes out in West Columbia

Cow Creek is decent, Crabb River is ok if you like higher speed stuff.

I may try to check a couple of those roads out this weekend. I've been working a lot lately but I'm getting a little burned out on CR-400 and Lake Jackson Farms every time I ride.

Please take it to the track so we don't read about another one on Monday..... MSRH is just off 288 at CR 48 south. 2.4 miles with 17 turns and straights you'll hit 145+, some turns are well over 100mph, and IF you crash, you'll walk away. Keep that stuff off the public roads.......... I've grown up around all those Brazoria county roads and the pavement isn't in such good condition anymore.

Don't forget all the obstacles that is out there. If the fall won't hurt or kill you, a light pole, tree, barb wire fence/post, or whatever will.
