help needed ...gsxr stop reading my mph

Can anyone direct on what to look for when checking my speed sensor to be sure that this is my problem? Bike stop reading my mph and it would be nice to know how fast im going . Thankx ahead .

On the front sprocket cover is your speed sensor. It might have came off or gotten dirty.
