Just a thought. I have friends that are already signed up with it so that's where I'd probably go. I'm just wondering. Maybe I should of just put military in general.

OK first of all what do you want to do in the military becasue that should play a big part of what branch you decide to join. There are alot of good things about the military. My opinion of the NAVY/Army is their quota's are to high so they let in just about any and everyone so you have alot of worthless fools. If you tired of college, dont plan to go to college or a strapt for money for college then its a nice alternative, looks great on your resume as well. Depending on what branch you join, it could turn you into a very proud, upright person.

Hoe old are you?

I wish that I'd waited until I was 21 to start college. Starting at 18 was Trouble for me.

I think some kind of service before college can be a good way to mature. Even if it's something like the Peace Corp.

Do a LOT of research...and try to get/do training for things that will carry over into civilian life. Be SURE it's what you want to do before you sign.

Army, Air Force, USMC, Navy, Coast Guard.

i was in the army for 3 years, loved it......but.......if i could go back, i woulda joined the air force, here are the reasons why:

living arrangements are MUCH better with them than any other branch of military,
overseas(in iraq), when i was there, we had to put up are tents and put 10 guys in a 6 person tent, go buy fans, live on a cot. the AF boys, had a blow up tent, A/C units that came with the tents, and some kinda bed, not a cot.

overall, the AF has better living and is much easier to go thru, only down fall about the AF is you go up in pay grade very slow.
