This had me scratching my head as well. Even as a family friend, I would think that if he felt compelled to go, he should leave the kids and wife safely at home. High speed chase turned wreck isn't the most ideal place to take little ones...

Brian RC Daly Why did you take your family to a motorcycle wreck?
15 mins Like

Jereamy Cevallos We had no idea there WAS a wreck when we left

Brian RC Daly Oh, I thought you said you heard about a wreck on the scanner and you and the family went to check it out....

Jereamy Cevallos I see that but no. I kinda put it all in a but shell. Didn't want to bore everyone with little details. My family and I went to see if he got pulled over then my dad called me. He has the scanner. That's when we found out.

Brian RC Daly So you and the family were just driving along and Bam! He hit your car?
3 mins Like

Jereamy Cevallos Yes. There was a sharp curve at the top of a hill. No time to react. He was in my lane on the white line

They heard on the scanners that he crashed, then seconds later he came on top of the hill and crashed his friends and family?

see, not to be too insensitive to either party or family here but this is my worst nightmare, when people are driving (or riding a motorcycle) dangerously or stopped in the middle of the road for no apparent reason, it sends out what i call stupid waves, and it attracts others stupid waves and ends up being a shitstorm there is no way to put it nicely, as i've tried before, but all i can say is be a leader not a follower and think twice before putting yourself in danger because theres always someone more stupid out there unwittingly ready and waiting to really you up. and as it goes in this guys case, many times he thinks he's helping out.
