Saw this RIP thread on FB

Quote:
"Sunday night we lost a fellow rider, a father, a son and a friend. After a fun day at the lot then a street ride a motorcycle chase began with county sheriff. Moments later we herd on the scanner that he crashed. I rushed to the area to make sure he was OK and help only to find out he didn't crash. Seconds later he topped a hill doing 100+ and hit me and my family head on killing him instantly and severing his leg. My kids and family are OK but its been tough for his family as well as mine. He was a great friend and we will miss him dearly. Funeral will be in Bellville Tx on Saturday at 11am at the Bellville High School for those who would like to come out and support a fallen rider. Craig Harris worked at the Galleria and lived in Houston. So if you knew him or just want to show some love come out. We will also be setting up a memorial ride soon and fund raiser for the family to help with expenses. More info will be posted later. Remember to tell the ones u love how much they mean to you. Tomorrow isn't promised. Be safe out there"
So what are your thoughts?

probably pretty traumatic as a little kid to have a family friend run into you head on at 100+ mph and kill himself with parts and pieces tossed about. I am glad the family wasnt physically hurt in the accident.

I feel for the family that the rider hit. . .other than that I don't think much about it. Actions have consequences and the riders actions ended his life. I still think the NosRavenR1 thread can be unlocked so we can bump it back up for the invincible newbies.

So the guy in the car was on his way to help what he thought was a crashed rider, and then the rider crashed head-on into that dude's car? And the dude in the car just happened to be listening to the scanner, and somehow determined from the chatter that the rider was his friend? I smell fish.....

I agree.

so who pays for the damages to the car with the family in it? what if he had killed his kids or wife. Im sure the person would be singing a different tune.

Poor family

The memorial ride should be police escorted.

Feel for the kids left behind and the ones that saw the the accident .

Couple of things.....
If he hadn't gone to go "see" the wreck, the rider wouldn't have wrecked into him. He would still me alive.(a little longer)
Why would someone take his family to see a motorcycle wreck?

Yea I agree the story doesn't make sense. Not saying it couldn't be true, but it's definitely fishy. RIP to his family and friends.
