never heard of a bike getting stolen from a apartment complex, mind blowing.

hope he gets his bike back though honestly and learns his lesson.

Well you get a nice discount with State Farm if you have multi policy with them, like home insurance, multiple cars,life insurance. I pay $75 a month for both bikes fully insured. Granted these bikes are old but that covers personal injury also.

The fact that theft is $3k per year on a bike probably worth $6k tells you that the insurance company is pretty sure that it'll get stolen within a 2 year period. Considering they have the statistics to make that call pretty accurately...you might want to rethink your choices.
