Fastline Intermediate

I had the pleasure of working with a student last Sunday. I first saw him run off the end of the track at Diamonds Edge, after which I followed him for another couple of laps. He was really fast but his lines were a bit erratic.

After pitting in I approached him and asked him if he would like some instruction, which he immediately said yes. I have to say after working with this him, he is going to be really fast. He has the right stuff in terms of attitude and bike skills.

Here is some video from his FIRST time at MSRH, FIRST time on a Daytona 675 and he was riding oem street tires. By the end of the day he was running mid-low 1:50's. Notice the stoppie coming into Sugar and Spice at the end. I didn't teach him that.

I think it needs to be tilted up slightly.

On the 300 Craig. A bit challenging to keep up. In the afternoon when he wicked it up I was on the r6.

Yeah, personal preference. At least at the beginning I liked being able to see the tach on the 300. But still pretty good. I've seen a lot of first attempts at a helmet mount where the video is all instruments and handlebars!

I noticed where you had to go get the bigger motor to make it easier to keep up! Good stuff watching somebody get faster based on your coaching.
