I'm not b*tching by any means....are you kidding:laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6

I'm just looking out for ya....think about it...

MOST of these guys that are running 150+ on the streets w/out any gear are YOUNG and DUMB. aka inexperienced....they are quick on the straights, but can't handle a U-turn under the overpass to save their lives. That is just my opinion. I'll get out there to ride with ya guys sooner than later. May and June are typically really busy for me as I have crawfish boils to attend, camping outtings on the river, friends getting married, yada yada yada...I'll get with ya when life SLOWS down.

7:30 is not too early....that's almost perfect if the roads are clear and no fog....and yes we won our baseball game (actually softball). we took 5th out of 16 teams.

Ur right about more than a few of em, but the leaders of that pack which are normally an orange zx10, yellow/blk gsxr 1k, silver 1kRR, or a blk/red gsxr 1k (i'll keep the names to myself), phucking ride, and ALL OF EM DO OR HAVE DONE TRACK DAYS!!!! I wouldn't make the mistake of dismissing that group, just b/c they r doing something on the streets u thing is stupid, it's their mistake to make.

Aside from those 4 mo fo's everybody else is just trying to keep up (no pun intended anyone, KIM i'm not in that 4)

Like I said in the same quote you quoted me....(just for clarity...most means most, not everybody)

I've been to pp1 a few times and rode out with some groups like that. I bailed. I kept pace with one of the groups once to see if it was just a short burst or sustained. It was sustained so I just eased off the throttle. I think it's too much of a risk for something that isn't that much fun compared to hittin the twisties.

Stay safe out there!

Candy,
Doing or done trackdays doesn't mean anything.
Obviously in this case they haven't learned much.
Most people after some trackdays slow WAY down on the street.
They know there's better/safe fun at the track that fits for sport bike (sport bikes are design to TURN).
I've done most things those guys are doing now.
I had my young days, made my mistakes, was luckier than the most and here I am.
I just wanna help some of them not to learn their lesson from their own or through someone else's.
In this case I'm talking about serious injury or death.

I DEFINATELY AGREE WITH U, but I doubt u LEARNED UR LESSON by having people continuosly call u "stupid", "idiots", or even try to TEACH U a lesson thru examples. UUUUUUU came to the point where UUUUUU decided to STOP, and it took u time to get there.

They will 2 when THEY ARE READY, just as u did. I'm just not with dismissing them as disrespectful people/riders, b/c they haven't reached ur level of clarity yet! Hopefully they'll be as lucky as u and make it to that point, but until then it's up to them.

We are agreeing here!!

:laughing6 :laughing6 I seem to try and give everyone the smallest benefit of the doubt! A lot of bashing seems to go down here, and I don't think anyone on here is necessarily the better M/F just b/c of where they ride or the way they ride, but that's just me! :eh:

I was once a non respectable rider doing 150+ down LSD in Chicago...whether they know it now or will learn it later, they are disrespectful people/riders until they come to the realization that there actions are IDIOTIC and they slow there down. They are disrespectful riders, period. They bring on a negative stereotype from the general public for ALL sportbike riders by there immature decision making to do insane speeds on freeways that are well over double the posted limit. I feel little pain, sorrow,or grief for people who end their lives this way. The only people I feel sorry for are their loved ones they leave behind. end rant...leaving thread.
