Track is in pretty good shape. It is not smooth as glass, but better then any of the county roads.

Smooth compared to TWS (Texas World Speedway)'s speed bumps.

There will be a bunch of us down there on saturday(05/12)
you should come out and see it for yourself.
As far as the bumps go, theres only one part, after turn one that really bothers me, other than that, tracks a blast.

I also hate the few bumps on the front straight if you swing wide coming out of the carousel. It is going to take me a session or two to get over my jitters of my wreck last time out.

The one at Oakhill? I remember the whole upper came off the bike. You get it fixed? Looked like the tabs busted off and the headlight shattered. I was cornerworking when you wrecked.

If you're scared of bumps, you're in the wrong sport... (not directed at anyone in particular)

MSR is flat as a pancake and offers no elevation changes. I would think the wall coming out of the last turn would be a greater factor in not being able to wick it up out there.

TWS (Texas World Speedway) had a tire wall - but thanks to the efforts of many - the wall was recently removed.

Good job to everyone that made that happen at TWS (Texas World Speedway). Now we need to divert our attention to the wall in Houston. That sucker needs to be moved back.

Bumps I can handle, but the ones going into turn two can really throw you off, almost to the point of loosing control. I need to slow down there and find a way around all that . Ohh, and for teh record, MSRH does have one 4-5' elevation change.:icon_bigg

That almost happened to me once. I was on street tires and got on the gas after the carousel and the back end slipped out on me sending the bike into a Violent tank slapper. It was so bad my legs were up so high they were nailing my tail section of the bike and I was looking down thinking to myself this is going to hurt. Then miraculously it stopped and I thanked Jesus and went back to the paddock for the rest of that session.
