you! i had the same bike in the choices i want(well, except the zzr). Cant deny though, the sv is an excellent bike, i had the liberty of test driving one...its alot higher than the 250 but that will be standard once you move up to a 600.

Oh by the way, I recently purchased an 04 SVS, and I love love love it. The handling and torque is great for Houston - nimble and explosive. I heart my new machine, but admittedly I'm a little biased because I just got her.

your correct.........but when it's dry. when it gets wet the ABS is where the system shines.

and if you can afford it, get it. remember when ABS was a luxury on cars, nowadays everyone has one. same w/ bikes.

as for moving up, other then the numb crotch, your not going to gon thru your favorite set of twisties any faster on a 600ss, prolly slower. basically "moving up" is all about ego.

most people on this board couldn't ride a 250 to it's limits, let an SV.
